KJRC Kennels was built from our shared love for Dachshunds and the joy they bring into everyday life. What began as a passion for the breed has grown into a commitment to responsible, thoughtful breeding.
We focus on raising puppies that are not only beautiful, but also confident, affectionate, and well socialized. Every puppy receives daily handling, early exposure to household sounds, and plenty of love to help them transition smoothly into their forever homes.

Our Puppies
Our puppies are raised in our home where they are part of daily life. From an early age they are introduced to common sights and sounds, gentle handling, and positive experiences that help shape them into confident companions.
Each puppy goes home with:

Cherry – Our Foundation Girl
Cherry is our very first female here at KJRC Kennels, and she holds an incredibly special place in our hearts. She is an AKC registered long-haired ee cream miniature Dachshund weighing just 9 pounds, and she truly represents everything we love about the breed.
From her stunning coat and elegant structure to her sweet, loving personality, Cherry is the definition of a gentle soul. She has the calm, affectionate temperament that makes Dachshunds such wonderful companions, and she passes that same loving nature on to her puppies.
As our foundation female, Cherry is the heart of our program. She set the standard for what we strive for in our breeding goals—beauty, health, and an amazing disposition. We are beyond proud to build our kennel around such a special girl and look forward to many wonderful generations inspired by her.

At our facility, whelping is never a hands-off process. Every mama and puppy receives attentive, around-the-clock care in a calm, clean, and cozy environment. From the very first signs of labor through those critical early days, we are present to monitor each delivery, assist when needed, and ensure both mom and babies are safe, comfortable, and thriving.
We provide hands-on support with temperature checks, weight tracking, early health monitoring, and gentle handling to help puppies grow strong and confident from day one. Our small, intimate whelping space allows us to give each litter the individual attention they deserve, ensuring a smooth start to life and peace of mind for future families.
